The first step in the CA Course to become a chartered accountant is the CA Foundation Course. You will learn the fundamentals of accounting, business law, economics, and mathematics at this level. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) offers the CA Foundation test twice a year, in November and May. Students who have passed the legally mandated class 12 exam or have been approved by the Central Government may apply for CA Foundation, based on their eligibility. However, ICAI has changed the qualifying requirements and permitted provisional registration for students who have not passed their 12th exams due to the delay in the announcement of the Class 12th Central and State Boards Results.
